Issue: Is Abortion Right Or Wrong?

Abortion has been a trending topic for the past few months. States around the country are trying to ban abortion. Termination of pregnancy, another phrase for abortion, is the act of ending a pregnancy prior to the child being born. I feel like people that are against abortions have to get out of the "abortion is murder" mindset. Women should have the right to have full control over what they want to do with their bodies. Accidents happen, and there should be alternative ways like abortion to prevent a woman from having a kid. I don't feel like abortion is murder because the baby isn't physically living on earth. It is not an official living thing. According to the CDC, in 2018 38.6% of all abortions were early medical abortions. Almost 60% of abortions come from women in their twenties. At this age range, this is when people are still finding themselves, highly sexual, and some people do not plan on having a baby at this period. This is why abortions are lifesavers for women that want them.

I feel like the abortion topic is going to trend for a while considering the fact that it is talked about politically. Offices aren't the only places that this topic is discussed though. Social media platforms, podcasts, and radio stations are major outlets for everyone to voice their opinion on the touchy subject.
