TiCl4 + 2Mg -------> Ti + 2MgCl2

no of moles of TiCl4 = W/G.M.Wt

                                    = 35400/189.67 = 186.64 moles

no of moles of Mg       = W/G.A.Wt

                                     = 6530/24 = 272.08 moles

1 mole of TiCl4 react with 2 moles of Mg

186.64 moles of TiCl4 react with = 2*186.64/1 = 373.28 moles of Mg

Mg is limiting reagent

2 moles of Mg react with TiCl4 to gives 1 mole of Ti

272.08 moles of Mg react with TiCl4 to gives = 272.08/2 = 136.04 moles of Ti

mass of Ti = no of moles * gram atomic mass

                   = 136.04*48 = 6529.92g of Ti
