To improve the QOS quality of service infrastructurethese changes can be done1 Generalmodel for traffic prioritization Traffic should always follow a prioritization scheme in order toguarantee specific bandwidth requirements from real timecommunications This scheme can be represented in the form of ageneral model which applies to all applications with specialconditions such as maximum delay to be met This model isrepresented in Figure 1 After receiving the traffic through theincoming interface the first step would be to mark the incomingframespackets according to our needs This should be done using adifferent traffic class for every kind of traffic with differentneeds A common practice is to classify voice and video in its ownclass away from any other type Next the traffic should be readyto be classified according to our own requirements Delay sensitivedata should receive a special treatment to avoid delay at allcosts Any other data should be considered as delay tolerant andfurther processed in order to provide the bandwidth only to thoseapplications that do really need it The most important trafficclass should receive a strict priority using Low Latency QueuingLLQ LLQ allows traffic to skip
