The channel bedwidth is gradually contracted from 8.0 meters at section (1) to 6.0meters at section (2). In the contraction zone, a smooth hump isplaced in the channel in which the bed level is gradually increasedby 1.00 m. Determine: (i) The change in water levels, (ii).Theminimum height of hump so that y2 = yc, and (iii) The change inwater levels if the hump height is 1.50 meter
