Spermatogenesis is formation of half spermatozoa( sperm) from diploid spermatogonia in testis of male. The semniferous tubule present in testis help in formation of spermtocyte cell giving rise to sperm cell. The oogenesis is process of formation of oocyte . The testis serve as storage of testosterone hormone and produce hormones like inhibin , it help in providing nutrition to sperm.
the ovary in female is associated in production of reproduction hormones like estrogen and prosgesteone necessary for the reproduction changes in the body .
