Your final assignment is to write a marketing plan that is specific to developing a better, more improved UMFK Business Program. Segments like this will be assigned weekly to allow you the opportunity to develop drafts over time. The criteria for the paper can be found in Appendix A of your text (which is also attached).This attachment will be the format you use for developing your marketing plan. It should be studied in detail. Make certain to review the sample marketing plan also found in this document. Also, utilize the elements from the text. Such as, SWOT analysis, demogrpahics, 4 P's, segmented and targeted markets, to mention a few. This plan is your own. You must develop a strategy that will achieve at least one major goal/objective using a clear vision that is communicated in the paper.

This week you will work on writing the Executive Summary, Company Overview and Objectives/Goals. Consider researching the UMFK website, the University of Maine System website, as well as competitors (other colleges/universities), and accrediting sources (IACBE) for more information. Keep in mind that your marketing plan is a work in process and won't be finished until you have writtten it several times. Assess the information found and how it allows you to develop strategy for meeting your objectives. This is planning.
