Through Next-Generation Sequencing, we have learned a lot aboutthe human gut microbiome, including community demographics,establishment of the microbiome and microbiome stability. Design astudy to determine the effects of daily kombucha consumption on gutmicrobiome composition and function. Be sure to describethe model system, controls, types of data to be collected, methodsof data analysis, and limitations of the study. Alsoindicate whether the data you gather will provide correlative orcausative evidence of the effects of kombucha on the gutmicrobiome.
