First is acommon goal which is to have a shared objective that each teammember is working toward. Second is open communication, third isteam roles which are establishing role's for a common goal. Fourthis time management, fifth is practical problem solving, and thefinal one is bonding. These are all important characteristics ofsuccessful guidelines of being an efficient team player and canincrease your productivity as a whole.

There are 3 team types: Self-managed teams, Cross-functionalteams, and Virtual teams; they all have a different purpose in theway they are set up but they all achieve a common goal. Some peopleare better in different team types and are more efficient based ontheir personality or there motive what they strive in.

There are 2 types of Interdependence, Task interdependencewhich is the degree that team members depend on each other forinformation, materials, and other resources to complete their jobtasks. Outcome interdependence is the degree which the outcomes oftask work is measured, rewarded, and communicated at the grouplevel so as to emphasize collective outputs rather than individualcontributions. To be an effective individual you should have amindset of taking personal responsibility for behaviors. Creatingsafety for each other to be vulnerable and also engaging andresponding to each other.
