Waiting time for client at 6 p.m. = Available hours till 6 p.m. * (Demand per hour Capacity per hour – 1)

Here,

Available hours till 6 p.m. = 10 hours

Demand per hour = Gallons demanded per day Available hours in a day

                             = 94000 10

                             = 9400 gallons

Capacity per hour = 5100 gallons

So, Waiting time for client at 6 p.m. = 10 * ( 94005100 – 1)

                                                         = 8 hours (approximately)
