This project is a role-play exercise based on the Mentcare casestudy introduced in Chapter 1 of the Sommerville textbook anddiscussed further in Chapter 4 (additional material availablethrough the Course Resources page). You will be assigned to a rolealong with several other students. Following is the scenariodescription.

Assumption:  A company plans to design and develop anew software system, which is very much like the Mentcare casestudy from your textbook. To determine a full and robust set ofsoftware systems requirements, various stakeholders will be broughtin for a series of meetings to discuss specific needs that shouldbe reflected in the software system requirements.

We will form four teams, each of which will represent adifferent stakeholder group for the new medical records softwaresystem. Members of each team will confer with each other to definewhat activities they need to perform that will use the new datasystem, and determine those overall system requirements which areuniquely critical to the team’s viewpoint, and must be broughtforth to the software system designers during the meetings.

  1. Doctor at MH clinic
  2. Manager of MH clinics
  3. Visiting Nurse (home check)
  4. Secretary, Records and Billing
