A sled with a total mass of 671 kilograms is going down astraight part of a hill where the angle of incline is 10.6degrees.

The length of the straight part of the hill is 76.4 metres.

The speed of the sled at the top of the hill is 4 meters persecond.

The combined forces of friction = the total friction includingair drag and sliding friction = 43 newtons.   

How much time does it take for the sled to travel down thestraight part of the hill?

Note that the initial speed is NOT zero and so you will have tosolve a quadratic equation to get your answer.
