You are required to choose any TWO (Maybank & PETRONAS ) companies (from different sectors only) listed on Bursa Malaysia to analyse for this assignment by regarding the following factors:

Both companies must be public listed companies on Bursa Malaysia (must be from the main market only). You are not permitted to select the same combination of the two companies that others in the class have selected.

The company you select must have at least THREE (3) years of financial data.

Select the companies that you are interested in for investment. If you choose the companies that are new to you, you will learn and know a lot more about the companies and industries upon completion of your assignment.

All companies listed on Bursa Malaysia are adequately visible and are required to submit together with its selected annual report

. You are not required to contact the companies. Information required should be from the public domain companys website, Thomson Reuters Eikon, corporate announcements, annual reports, business websites, magazines or newspaper articles.

In your report, you will have to analyze, evaluate, compare and distinguish the variances of performances between both companies. Importantly, you need to write on their financing and investment activities in addition to explaining all the projects participated and its performances.
