An organization that continuously processes proposals isaddressing a large backlog due to an historical FIFO sequencingrule. You have been asked to determine a schedule that minimizesthe processing time of project proposals through the editingdepartment and revision department. The editing departmentidentifies changes and the revision department incorporates thechanges and produces a final proposal document for release. Aproposal must pass through each department. Each department haspersonnel to service only one document at a time. The editing timeis dependent on the type of proposal and the revision time isdependent on the size of the proposal.
