Our society receives untrue or biased information withoutrealizing it. Because people do not realize they are receivingfalse information, they are negligent in receiving the “real news”when there is a correction. This creates false rumors to be spreadamongst teenagers and adults. Our target customers are adults aged30 or older, who are on the go most of the time. In general, ourcustomers want unbiased news stories; or, at least the benefit ofknowing whether or not what they are reading is opinionated orfactual. We are choosing to target our customer to those who are onthe go because they are more likely to purchase/downloadour APP to obtain accurate news stories, comparedto taking the time to buy a newspaper or watch a segment on thetelevision. Additionally, it is time-consuming to flip through thenewspaper searching for a story that seems factual or waiting forthe news reporter to cover what the customer is interested in.Instead, the customer has the ability to search top news storiesand learn what is going on in the world within minutes.
