The G&E Company is preparing a bid to build the new47,000-seat Shoreline baseball stadium. The construction must starton July 1, 2020, and be completed in time for the start of the 2023season in April. A penalty clause of $250,000 per day of delaybeyond April 1st is written into the contract.

Percival Young, the president of the company, expressed optimismat obtaining the contract and revealed that the company could netas much as $3 million on the project. He also said if they weresuccessful, the prospects of future projects are bright since thereis a projected renaissance in building classic ball parks withmodern luxury boxes.

Questions:

Given the information provided in Table 6.3,using any project network computer program available to you toconstruct a network schedule for the stadium project and answer thefollowing questions:

1. Will the project be able to be completed by the April 3deadline? How long will it take?
2. What is the critical path for the project?
3. Based on the schedule would you recommend that G&E pursuethis contact? Why? Include a one-page Gantt chart for the stadiumschedule.
