1. John has a PAP with the following coverages and terms/conditions:

Liability coverages: $250,000/$500,000/$50,000

Medical Payments coverage: $10,000 each person

Uninsured motorists coverage (bodily injury only): $50,000 each person ($10,000 deductible)

Collision loss: $2,500 deductible

Other-than-collision loss: $1,000 deductible

With respect to each of the following situations (5 points each), please indicate whether the loss is covered (yes/no & which section) and the amount payable, if any, under Johns PAP. Assume that each situation is a separate event (I am not looking for cumulative math across all problems).

1. Johns friend is driving the family car with permission and causes an accident. He is sued and a jury awards three victims (in the other vehicle) $250,000 each for bodily injuries.

2. While lawfully crossing the roadway, John is struck by a hit-and-run driver. John sustains bodily injuries in the amount of $100,000.

3. Johns passenger window is smashed during an attempt to steal his wallet and smart device in the front seat.

4. Johns son attends college at UHart. While driving to campus, he rear-ends another vehicle causing minor damages ($5,000). Thankfully, neither driver sustains personal injuries.
