Accounting

If you own 50% of a company and the company is sold at 6 times its EBITDA, would you receive half of that? Or, would you subtract the equity you invested from that amount and receive the split difference? For example, if my partner and I invested $7.5million, our EBITDA is a 7,018million. We sell for 6x the EBITDA value. What is my cut?
