I am confused on the correct answers for 5.

How would the unit decrease effect the direct material costs and direct labor costs?

I am also very confused on why unit prime cost does not change. To calculate Unit prime cost I did

Direct Materials + Direct Labor / Number of Units which is 6 per unit. If I changed the formula and divided by 40,000 units the new prime cost per unit would be 7.50 which is an increase right?
