In order to take advantages of newtechnology, FoxMeyer started a 100 Million dollar project toimplement SAP’s R/3 ERP system in 1993. But the implementation wasa disaster for FoxMeyer. Four years later, the pharmaceutical giantfiled for bankruptcy. Also, it sued SAP and Anderson Consulting,claiming them to be responsible for the failure of the ERPsystem.
