Discussion -Wedding Gifts (GRADED DISCUSSION)
Here's a question recently sent to the editor at Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine:
My husband and I have been invited to a wedding, and the couples gift registry has no merchandisejust lots of ideas of what they would do with cash gifts from their wedding guests. Call us old-fashioned, but were put off by this request for money. Any suggestions?

So, your assignment is to answer the following questions on the discussion board:
1) Is it appropriate for a couple to request cash instead of gifts as wedding gifts? Why or why not? 2) Are you obligated to send a wedding gift if you are invited but unable to attend? 3) Is it acceptable to not give a gift if the couple getting married is better off financially than are you?
Be sure to respond to one other person on class.
