The shop owner deposits the check in her San Francisco bank account. The San Francisco bank sends the check to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco which then sends the check to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Finally the check is sent from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to Wongs bank in Buffalo. Discuss the terminology given to each of the banks according to the UCC 4-105.
