Electrical Engineering

Design and simulate a regulated power supply using a bridgerectifier, capacitors, and zener diode ( no integrated circuit). The source voltage is 110 plus or minus 10 Vrms, 60 Hz frequency. The output voltage is as follows (plus or minus 5%) : 4.5 V and 12V

It has to be done on a breadboard. The rating of the adapterwill be 12W and 5% regulation. To protect the circuit include asurge protection and fuse in the circuit design. The total cost ofthe components of the design should be less than $10. A totalnumber of the elements should be less than 12 for reducingenvironmental impact. Test it on Multisim and breadboard. PleaseLIST each item that you used on the breadboard test exactly. I NEEDYOU TO PERFORM IT ON A BREADBOARD as well as ON MULTISIM. SHOW themultilsim picture. SHOW ALL CALCULATIIONS NEATLY! DO NOT WRITE INPEN OR CURSIVE! THANK YOU!

As Bride rectifier is the device which is used to rectify means converts ac into dc Capacitor here work to store the charge It can store energy in the form of 12 cv2 Zener Diode operate in the forward bias onlyIt is a form of semiconductor diode in which at a critical reverse voltage a large reverse current can flow As the output voltage is as follows 45V and 12 V So we must use the voltage regulator to regulate    See Answer
