The longitudinal jointis made with a triple riveted butt model with anefficiency of about 85% and its cirvumferential connectionis a double riveted lap with an efficiency of 70%. Thepitch of the outer rivet of the rivet is twice the inner row andthe width of the plate cover is not the same. The allowed stressesare:
