Design a cam for a rise-return-dwell (RRD) application using thefourth order polynomial. The position, velocity, and accelerationshould be zero at the beginning of the rise h, and the velocityshould be zero at the end of the rise.

Plot s, v, a, and j profiles for BOTH fourth and fifth orderpolynomials using EXCEL.

(Note: this is to all be done by hand in regards to the fourthand fifth order polynomial. Only Excel can be used for theplotting. I have no knowledge of Mathcad and other programs are notallowed).

Every attempt I make, I get more lost and confused. I’dappreciate any help and the more details and explainations, thebetter so I’d have a deep understanding of it. Thank you!
