A:- By applying the formula, M1V1 = M2V2 we have to solve this problem,

Initial values                                                       Final values

M1 = 6.00 M                                                     M2 = 0.435 M

V1 = ?                                                              V2 = 500 mL

V1 = ( M2 * V2 ) / M1

     = ( 0.435 * 500 ) / 6.00

V1 = 36.25 mL

By taking 36.25 mL of 6.00 M HNO3 in measuring jar and make it diluted up to 500 mL by adding distilled water, hence we get 500 mL of 0.435 M HNO3 solution.
