1) Tool steel extensively used in injection molding production due thier high ability to sustain abrasion on surface and hence hardeness.

2)A-grade tool steel have hihg chromium contect helps in corrosion as well as abrasion resistance and used in forming punches ,thead rolling and blanking.

3) For resisting shock,hardening property the tool steel is added with silicon,tungsten,manganese which can be found in saw blades,knife.
