Persons response ----- I personally think that a PM is a verydifficult position to fill in larger projects, there is so muchgoing on and so many different things that need to be coordinatedthat a skilled PM is the only person with the training to do it. Tomake everything flow smoothly a properly trained PM shouldobviously be trained in scheduling, blue prints codes and trainedabout different materials that are being used so that theyunderstand what steps need to be taken to get the project completedand how long each of those steps should take. It also helps if thePM has a construction background such as being a contractor andactually doing the work or working closely with experienced PM's sothat they can see how each stage of the project gets completed,what the steps are and how an experienced professional handles theobstacles of daily operations.
