Na2CO3 concentration = 1.0

Kb1 = Kw / Ka2

     = 1.0 x 10^-14 / 4.7 x 10^-11

    = 2.13 x 10^-4

CO32- +   H2O    -------------> HCO3- +   OH-

1.0                                              0               0

1.0 - x                                          x               x

Kb1 = x^2 / 1.0 - x

2.13 x 10^-4 = x^2 / 1 - x

x = 0.0145

[OH-] = 0.0145 M

[H+] = 6.89 x 10^-13 M

pH = -log (6.90 x 10^-13)

pH = 12.16
