reaction is 2Na + Br = 2NaBr

now weight of Na = 59.5gm

M.Wt of Na = 23

moles of Na = 59.5/23 = 2.58

weight of Br2 = 48.7 g

M.Wt of Br2 =159

moles of Br2 = 48.7/159 = 0.306

0.306 mole of Br2 is reacting with 2.58 moles of sodium metal

theartical yield of any reaction = M.Wt of product x weight of starting material/M.Wt of starting material

                                            = 102.89 x59.5/23

                                            = 266 gm

% Yield = isolated yield x 100/thearical yield

          = 57.1 x 100/266

        = 21.466%
