As we know;

A)

Given rest energy of the parent particle, E = 8.94 GeV

                                                          = 8.94 x10 9 eV

= 8.94 x10 9 x1.6 x10 -19 J

As, E = mc 2

=> Rest mass of the parent particle, m = E / c 2

=> m = (8.94 x10 9 x1.6 x10 -19 )/( 3 x10 8 ) 2

                                          = 1.589 x10 -26 kg

B)

Energy released = 8.94 - (6.72 + 1.3) Gev = 0.92 Gev = 920 MeV
