CO2 moles = 10.4 / 44 = 0.2364

N2 moles = 7.77 / 28 = 0.2775

total moles = 0.5139

mole fraction of N2   = moles of N2 / total moles

                               = 0.2775 / 0.5139

                                = 0.540

V = 7.69 L

T = 36 + 273 = 309 K

P V = n R T

P x 7.69 = 0.5139   x 0.0821 x 309

P = 1.695 atm

total pressure = 1.695 atm

partial pressure of N2 = mole fraction of N2 x total pressure

                                    = 0.540 x 1.695

                                     = 0.916 atm

partial pressure of N2 = 0.916 atm
