A 1000 litre containment tank catches the outflow from aprocessing apparatus which has 800 litres of water with 2 g ofchemical agent dissolved in it. Additional supply comes into thetank at 3 litres/hr containing 5 g/litre of the chemical agent. Thesolution leaves the containment tank at 3 litres/hr. When theamount of chemical agent in the containment tank reaches 500 g, nomore supply is allowed to enter the system. Instead, fresh water isinput into the tank at 2 litres/hr; and at the same time, theoutflow is increased to 4 litres/hr. How much chemical agent isheld in the containment tank at any time t. Assume all liquids arewell-mixed. (10 marks.) Please provide the explanation of themethod and as much as step uh can with proper calculation.
